Graded & Certified Coins

Graded & certified coins are numismatic pieces that have been independently encapsulated and assigned a condition grade by a third-party grading service such as PCGS or NGC. Each coin is sealed in a tamper-evident holder along with a label listing the issuing country, date, denomination, and the assigned grade on the Sheldon 1-70 scale -- for example MS-65, AU-58, or PF-69. Grading removes ambiguity about a coin's condition and allows buyers to compare pieces across different sources using a common standard.
