We examine authenticity, grade, scarcity, metal content, eye appeal, and current collector demand, then compare against recent market activity. For most visitors a clear verbal valuation at the counter is all they need; for estates and insurance we can provide written appraisals.
You are welcome to watch the entire evaluation and ask questions. The goal is to explain what you have and why it is worth what it is — not to rush you through the counter.
Appraisal vs. Grading: What We Do and Don’t Do
We evaluate and buy coins, but we do not assign third-party grades in-house. Formal grading is performed by services such as PCGS and NGC. When a coin may benefit from certification, we will explain why grading could matter and how it can affect marketability and value.
Be cautious of any shop that claims it can “grade” your coins on the spot — legitimate, market-recognized grading comes only from recognized third-party services.
Estate & Inherited Coin Collections
Settling an estate is stressful, and coin collections are easy to undervalue. We handle inherited collections discreetly and transparently, explain the major pieces, and can work alongside families, attorneys, and executors.
When you are ready, we can make an offer on all or part of the collection, with same-day payment and help liquidating estates of any size.
