2007-W American Silver Eagle $1 NGC MS 69 — 1 oz Fine Silver
From $104.59
The 2007-W American Silver Eagle is a one-dollar denomination coin struck at the West Point Mint and composed of one troy ounce of fine silver, as inscribed on the reverse. This example has been certified MS 69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), one of the hobby's most respected third-party grading services, and is securely housed in NGC's tamper-evident, sonically sealed slab bearing certification number 3455929-027. The obverse presents Adolph A. Weinman's timeless Walking Liberty design — originally used on the 1916–1947 half dollar and widely regarded as one of the finest works in American coinage — depicting Lady Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag. The reverse carries John Mercanti's heraldic bald eagle with a shield, clutching an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by thirteen stars and the inscriptions "United States of America" and "1 OZ. Fine Silver — One Dollar. " The West Point facility has been home to American Silver Eagle production since the series launched in 1986, and W-mint coins carry particular appeal among type collectors and series completionists alike. At MS 69, this coin exhibits virtually flawless surfaces with only the slightest imperfection allowable at the highest levels of the Sheldon scale, making it a compelling centerpiece for any silver eagle registry set or advanced collection.
